The regular media would have you believe that the entire world economy has fallen apart, that every major corporation is in bankruptcy and there's no hope for our financial recovery. Well, here at P.O.P. we seek out those pockets of prosperity where businesses & individuals are thriving, and concentrate on stories that show the human spirit and proving that there is hope for a brighter tomorrow...and today!
Fed Up With All The Recession News
Recently Brian Williams of NBC news was getting flooded with emails and faxes saying that all the negative economic news was making people want to "hide under a rock".
They begged him to come up with some positive news for a change.
He turned the tables and said, "Submit the positive stories and I'll air them."
To his great surprise NBC News was FLOODED with calls, faxes and emails giving him "more stories than all three networks could ever use."
My point is...the good news stories ARE out there, and I would like for you to share them with me too.

President Barack Obama said the following recently:
"The future of our economy relies on the imagination of our entrepreneurs..."
Wow! That is a mind boggling statement, especially coming from the president.
That means all of us strange, creative, "out there" thinkers are the wave of the future!
One thing President Obama & all the economic pundits seem to agree on is that after their recession has run it's course we can never return to "business as usual".
They are right. We will HAVE to come up with new, creative and unique ways to conduct business and make money.

INTRODUCTION
Hello, and welcome to our website. The first thing most people want to know is "What the heck is up with this 'pocket of prosperity' stuff? Are you people nuts? Haven't you heard the news lately?"
Well, as odd as it may seem...we have simply refused to participate in this so-called recession. That's right. We aren't playing along with their silly, self destructive game.
Instead we have decided to look on the bright side of life, to take in and give off positive, healing energies. We have stopped letting the media dictate to us how we should feel.
Now that doesn't mean for one minute that we are burying our heads in the sand and ignoring reality, but consider this...
The financial dominos don't seem to start falling and the panic doesn't seem to set in during a recession, until the president and/or the media utter the word "recession" and tell us how bad it's going to be! There is a LOT of power in words, and belief in words.
Many faiths, philosophies and religions around the world believe that you can bring things...good or bad...into being simply by speaking them into existence. We here at P.O.P believe that to be true...thus we ARE a POCKET OF PROSPERITY!!
